When I was growing up in Poland in the sixties my hobbys were: photography and stamp collecting. Few years ago I got into computers, mainly because of their potential  in easy and cheap communications with the entire world. Then I discovered the connection of photography and computers with the purchase of my first digital camera and from than on I never looked back. I like digital technology and their constant progress in changing our lives.        

My goal is to make this store the friendliest store on Ebay.  I will continue to look for interesting products to provide a variety of items from pottery to technology and even some things that you didn't know that you needed.

More recently I have developed a new interest in Polish Pottery.  Last November I had the opportunity to go to Poland and visit the factory where this art is skillfully made.  There I was able to recieve this information from their Certificate of Authenticity:

The History of Polish Stoneware.

Polish stoneware, also known as Polish pottery, originated as folk art in the early part of the eighteenth century in the German providence of Silesia, now a part of Poland.  The Peacock feather inspired the early decorations. The history of pottery making in this ancient region of Europe dates back to the seventh century.

Today, in the small village of Boleslawiec, Poland this time honored tradition of artistically crafted stoneware continues.

Durable and Beautiful ...  

Polish stoneware is truely beautiful for all special occasions as well as very durable for every day use.  It is crafted out of clay indigenous to this region.  Only natural and ecological materials are used throughout the entire production process. Polish stoneware is cadmium and lead free.  Due to the special glaze and very high firing temperature of 1,250 degrees Celcius it is extremely durable and highly resistant to chipping and scratching.

Each piece of stoneware is handcrafter and hand decorated by artisans, using small sea sponges to apply unique and beautiful stamping patterns. Decorations and patterns come in a wide variety of offerings. Traditional patterns are loved and appriciated for their stronga nd vibrant colors of cobalt blue, forest green, and reddish browns.  Unique (Unikat) and Signature patterns are created only by master artists. These patterns are truely unique and reflect the artist's individual expression. All colors and designs are crafted to compliment each other and to invite you to enjoy the fun process of searching for your perfect combination.
