Mandala Organics L.L.C. was incorporated in the spring of 2007 with a mission to seek out the very best in Organic and Natural products.
Co-owners Gail Kirk and Cheryl Creekmore have complementary backgrounds in business. Gail has 20 years of experience in Business Development and Information Technology and Cheryl has 25 years in Wholesale/Retail Business Management. This full time business venture suits both their passion and their belief in the ability to make a difference in the health and well being of people and the natural world.

From Cheryl Creekmore:
We both adore babies, so it was an easy decision where to begin our research on natural and organic products. We are just delighted with the organic baby clothes that we have discovered and final decisions are being made on organic diapers. In addition, my newest grandson (in Denmark) is allergic to just about any skin product that touches his body, so we know how important it is to carry wonderful skin care products as well. We are so inspired by all that we have learned and all the wonderful examples of ways to make life better that our plans for Mandala don’t end with organic baby products. At some point, we plan to expand to organic and natural pet products (my idea) and organic and natural products for the home (Gail's idea).
The real 'moment of truth' for me, I think, was when I found out that it takes 500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose in a landfill. I began thinking about what we are leaving our children and especially our grandchildren and decided that it was time to do something about it. I know that Gail has been a "Mother Earth" person for most of her life, but believe me, I have been the queen of convenience. I have a lot more "making up" to do regarding the environment and Mandala Organics is the beginning of that apology.
We have done months of interesting research and have attended our first All Things Organic Show in Chicago and now, its all coming together. We have done a lot of "ooohing" and "aaahing" at all of the stuff for little ones, and we hope that you agree that we are carrying some of the best products around.
It’s exciting to know that if all of us do just one thing a week to lessen the negative impact on our environment, we will make a difference in the lives of our children and grandchildren.
Be well,
Cheryl
