Abrash: A change in the color of the rug due to producing the rug with different wools and/or dye batches.
Antique-Washed: A chemical washing procedure which gives the rug an "antique-look".
Flat-Weave: A rug that has a flat pile.
Foundation: The back of the rug which contains warp and weft strings.
Fringe: Warps extending from each side of the rug.
KPSI: or knots per square inch, is one of the factors used in determining rug quality. It refers to the knot density within one square inch of the rug.

Warp: Threads of yarn that run through the length of the rug.
Weft: Threads of yarn that run through the width of the rug.

Charges include shipping, handling, wrapping, packaging, and insurance.
