I've been obsessed with tiny things ever since my dad built me my first dollshouse in the mid 1950s from a pattern in a women's magazine - I still have that very precious dollshouse, too. My mother gave me my love for knitting, so I've been able to combine both passions by creating tiny knitting patterns for the wee folk who inhabit the 1/12th scale dollshouse world. I sell my patterns, dressed dolls, kits and knitting materials on-line and at fairs, including fairs in UK and USA as well as at home here in Australia and have also run mini knitting workshops. A great excuse to travel!!! Recently, I discovered the high quality dollshouse dolls and other items manufactured by Swiss dollmaker Heidi Ott, and I now dress these little masterpieces with my knitted items.

I also love working with polymer clay to create tiny dollshouse food items, and just generally experimenting with new techniques and creations! The mini bug is definitely genetic and my daughter creates high quality readable dollshouse scale books, and she and her family even travel to many of the fairs with us.
