Many sellers buy their vinyl from other eBayers, mark it up, and sell the vinyl to crafters.  Their problem is, the sellers they buy from sell offcuts rolls (manufactures waste material when cutting down huge rolls) of vinyl.  There is usually nothing wrong with offcut rolls (if they are fresh), but they never know what colors they're going to get.  You can spot those sellers when they offer a lot  "grab bag" auctions.   Some even list tons of "available" colors, but they won't guarantee the colors will be available by stating "stocks change often" in their auctions.  I buy the vinyl I sell on eBay weekly from a national wholesaler.  I could list THOUSANDS of colors in my auctions, but since I don't stock thousands of colors, I won't deceive buyers with those kinds of misleading statements.  If you need something I don't stock, I can always special order it for you & create a special auction for you.  If you need Matte Vinyl, I have 20 colors in stock.  If you need Glossy Vinyl, I have 32 colors in stock.  When you buy my vinyl today, you can rest assured that I'll have the same color in stock when you need more.   That's a guarantee most sellers can't make. 

I've seen many vinyl sellers come & go - some have gone out of business with a bunch of negative feedback, and just started up again with a new ID.  Some have multiple eBay Id's.  I've always had the same eBay ID.  My prices have ALWAYS been low.  My vinyl has always been fresh.  My color selection has always been good. 

When I educated buyers about the need for fresh vinyl, suddenly everyone SAID they offered only fresh vinyl.  Virtually every time I added an item for sale, such as applicators, transfer tape, static cling, magnetic material, iron on material, etc.....some of my competitors have added those items.  Some sellers have even copied my auctions wording - sometimes - word for word.  At first that upset me.  Now, I just laugh......I LIKE BEING THE LEADER!  

Over the past years, I've gotten A LOT of hate directed towards me from other sellers.  One seller has ALWAYS trys her best to twist the truth around and slander me.  She started attacking me & my auctions almostly immediately after she saw how well MY auctions were doing.   All I can say is, KARMA baby!  (Especially to that seller who keeps copying everything I do, and then trys to accuse me of BAD talking her!)   To see what I mean, just check out other vinyl sellers "about me" pages  (that they added AFTER seeing mine!)  When she read this page, she copied my story of how & why I started selling vinyl, changed a few words around, and tried to make it hers.  That's as close to plagiarism as it gets!  She is obsessed with copying my business.  It’s really pathetic - I feel like I'm being stalked.  :-(    

There's nothing wrong with checking out the competion.  It's good business.  But, I don't play around with dirty underhanded tricks.  I don't have to.   So, if being "mean and nasty" is calling a spade - a spade, I'm guilty.  I won't sit back and let some desperate sellers slander me.  That's the kind of person I am!  I have great self esteem!  I don't have to copy someone in order to be sucessfull!  I don't have to LIE about the competition.  I AM THE COMPETITION...the seller everyone has to beat!  

So, despite repeated desperate attempts by other sellers to make me look bad, copy my auctions, & file bogus reports about my auctions (to try to get me kicked off eBay), my sales are great.  I believe that God will handle those deceitful sellers in his own way & in his own good time!   I put my life into Gods hands years ago, and God has ALWAYS looked after me and my daughter.  I'm sure he ALWAYS will!   :-)
