Mark and Mary My lovely wife and I. My wife and I are semiretired (she a nurse and me a commercial deep-sea diver). We started going to estate auctions in Beverly Hills, Woodland Hills, and Santa Monica a couple of years ago. We purchase items we think will sell on ebay and Amazon and it has worked pretty well for us. We are picky about the auctions we attend and choose only the best. It is both exciting, (some of the stuff is in sealed boxes and the bids are blind so you don't know what you've purchased until the end of the auction), and sad (because you are purchasing the remains of someone's life). Now I live in front of my computer listing, answering questions, and packaging orders. It's lots of work but we both enjoy it. Listings To protect bidder privacy, when the price or highest bid on an item reaches or exceeds a certain level, User IDs will be displayed as anonymous names. For auction items, a bold price means at least one bid has been received. Note: Anonymous names may appear more than once and may represent different bidders.
