I've been an eBay member for many, many years -- Both as a buyer and as a seller.

As a buyer, most of my experiences have been good but not all have. I’ve had sellers ship something other than what was described and refuse to take it back. I’ve had sellers list name-brand merchandise and send me knock-off items. And I've paid more than three times what it actually cost the seller to ship my package.

Lessons learned... My past experience taught me the importance of clear and accurate product descriptions, fair shipping, and the benefits of being flexible enough to work with unhappy customers.
