My name is Marvila "Marvie" Lockhart and i am a 1st Generation Texan, born in San Antonio about 29 years ago to two good parents with three younger brothers. My roots are planted so deeply in this Texas soil, must be from wearing my flip flops. My family is very well rounded, from farmers, to welders, carpenters, and artist. I come from a very traditional family that believes in "your word" is golden. So if your afraid of biding, please feel confident that i will do my very best in providing you the tranquility of biding with confidence. I have been scammed myself on Ebay sadly and have had horrible interactions with a few sellers here. But I believe that a few bad apples does not ruin the Bunch. I am a real human being, not a scammer, not a robot, and i give you my word, to provide the best service i can. I tried my hand at being a cowgirl, soldier, played some powder puff football, and became one of the many local artist here in San Antonio at a very young age. My love for the arts has taken me all the way to Texas Tech where i studied silver point, joining a beautiful program called SAY SI, which is a well respected art program, at age 16 , too scoring the highest points on two portfolios by the elite Princeton University, age 18. I must also thank my wonderful Art teacher in High school Donna Simon, she's the best!  I have been on eBay since 2005 where i have dabbled in selling my art. And have had much success, check out my past feedback.

A little bit more about me, I am a single mother of three beautiful boys, my 3 little boys range in the ages of 8-4, they are my inspiration. I never believed in the word divorce but sadly my marriage failed. So after dusting off my blue jeans, i am back living life to the highest potential. I received wonderful training from the military and am now an Oral Surgery Tech by trade. Ive been doing that for about 7 years now. I am a great believer in education and have returned to college in pursuit of Medical School. Though sometimes I'm Panting like a lizard on a hot rock, With full time College, 2 Part Time Jobs, one including The United States Army Reserves, which i have served for 7 years active/reserve, and my boys bouncing off the walls. I try really hard to get some Art in my busy schedule. I wish I had more time to dedicate to my Art. My love for art pushed me in this direction. I always dreamed to one day live off my talent but unfortunately like many the term "starving artist" rings true. In 2005 a friend suggested I give this eBay thing a shot, so i said, " AHHHH WHY NOT !" If you win one of my auctions and for any reason you don’t think it works for you, just send it back and I'll get your money back come hell or high water. If you do like what I paint/draw then tell others and keep on buying. I like to work in lots of mediums oils/acrylics/watercolor/prisma colors/graphite, i try to keep my listings pretty simple. Most of my paintings/drawings will last a long time if properly cared for, unless you have a spouse that throws them out because there upset, your dog eats it, or you have Texas seasons, drought, flood, blizzard and twister weather. In short you will get your money’s worth. My goal is "I want Happy Collectors." I try really hard to answer emails. I’ll answer your questions as long as they don’t meddle with my private life, simply put. I’m here to see if my friend is correct that the internet is the new way of life and Ebay is calling my name........ May you always have the blue sky overhead.
