WELCOME AND THANK YOU for stopping in... Let me introduce you to our about me page. As the oldest I get to tell all about us.HAHA!!!..We are the 3 daughters of Mary & Joe. Mom is 93 years young and Dad has been gone since 1973. He died doing what he loved watching work being done on a boat, as he was a Navy man...Dad worked around the water all his life..WOW what a fisherman he was... always catching treasures for us,,,like lobsters and crabs YUMMY..Mom sewed most of her life, going to work sewing at the age of 14 for the Red Cross..She sewed our clothes most of the time so we did have matching outfits...She always took store bought items apart and resewed them to make a better fit for us......When we became teenagers she went to work in dress shops making clothes for other people ..WOAH NO more matching clothes for us..BUT our children did get some handmade clothes ..She still does a bit of sewing and we say " Mary's sewing keeps her going" So it is with that information that hence comes Treasures of MaryJoes3girls .. We were born and raised in Connecticut and as we aged, like good wine ,we sprouted our wings like eagles and made nests in other states..
I'm Carol and I'm 30 years younger than Mom..I live in New Hampshire with my husband Bob of 47 years and our son Brian who is very special deaf young man of 34 yrs of age( looking for a wife) HAHAHA !!!!!and YES Bob stole from the cradle as I was a child bride in 1962..We are the PROUD parents of 2 sons 42 & 34 and 5 daughters 46,44,36,29,29 and PROUD grandparents of 9 Grandsons ages 26,25,21,13,10,8,6,4, 3 and 7 Granddaughters ages 22,20,17,16,14,8 and 1.
In 1947 along came Jo-Ann Oh she was suppose to be a boy..WOOPS so little Joe became Jo-Ann???..She lives in Texas with her husband Lew of 13 years. They are the PROUD parents 3 adult children. WOW fast workers Jo-Ann has 2 sons 34 & 32 and Lew has 1 son 46 and they are the PROUD grandparents of 3 grandsons ages 21,19 & 6 and 1 granddaughter 3 yr old..
As you can see Mom didn't sew all the time as in 1948 along came Cathy, who now lives in the house we grew up in..Cathy, who was also a child bride, is the PROUD mother of 3 adult sons ages 42,38,37 and is the PROUD grandmother of 2 grandsons ages 26 & 14 and 2 granddaughters ages 22 & 16..THEN in 1952 ALONG came our baby "AIRBAG" brother Donald who is 56. He also lives in Connecticut not far from Cathy...Don and Judy are the PROUD parents of 2 daughters 24 & 18 and 1 son 22. So now you know about our family... |

I started doing Ebay because Bob was always buying things online and I said "You should sell and save us money!" and he said "Why don't you ?" So I am and he does a little also ..still buying more than selling....I really didn't do anything with Ebay until 2005. That's when I talked Jo-Ann & Cathy into doing the site with me..It is working really nice... We Praise God for it everyday......
Look for treasures everyday..Know that Life is a treasure box and we just have to open up to find new and different treasures..So please stop in and open up some of our treasures to see if any are for you.??????..
