Hello,
and welcome to my About Me page. My name is Mary
and I've been making dolls for about 20 years. When I first started making
dolls, I believe it was during the first Cabbage Patch era, I made a cloth doll
for my own collection, but ended up selling her and making several more. After
going through a time of making wedding and bridesmaid dresses, I wanted to do
something different because the brides to be were driving me crazy! So, one day
I picked up a Doll Crafter magazine and that's when I started making porcelain
dolls. That was 15 years ago! Where has the time gone!
A few years ago,
while searching for porcelain doll supplies on eBay, I came across "reborn"
vinyl dolls and thought to myself, hmmm, I can do that. So, needless to
say, I began gathering information on the reborning process. I don't consider
myself an expert at reborning and always feel there is still a lot I can
learn. But, I'll tell you this: once I take on a task, I learn
and do it
well. Here is a sampling of my Reborns made during 2009. Please wait
for Slide Shows to load. And these were made during 2005-2008. Please wait
for Slide Shows to load.
I
take pride in all the work I do. I only use the best quality
materials and supplies to make all of my dolls. I do not cut corners in time or expense.
It normally takes 2-4
weeks to finish a reborn doll. I will not offer any doll for sell until I am completely
satisfied that I have done my best to create a quality One-of-a Kind treasure for you that
will be loved and treasured for many years. Again, thank you and feel
free to email me any time with questions.
