Ma,Son,Curtis~Ma & Son Curtis!!

Hi, how I began selling on Ebay is an interesting story. I had just been down-sized from my job of 30 years...talk about stress! I lost my father after heart surgery, my best friend of 25 years to lung and brain cancer, all in a span of 4 months. Then 2 weeks after the death of my father, I was laid off. No money, no insurance, my world fell apart. I worked part time writing ads for people I knew who sold interesting and high volume on Ebay. After awhile my Son said, "why don't you do that on your own, I will help." Thus, the name Masoncurtis...Ma & Son Curtis. Pretty clever, huh? I have to give the credit to my son for that one. So we purchased a computer and because he is alot smarter than I am he set everything up. I am the one who wrote the ads, while he did the purchasing. Everything from his passion, fishing to stereos, to anything out of the normal. After awhile it became too much for him along with being a single Dad and working, so I ventured out on my own. I have learned many HARD lessons being on my own. This is my only source of income, I also watch my two grandchildren daily so their parents can work. There is no financial gain in that, just my love. PLEASE NOTE THAT ON DECEMBER 01 2007 MY HUSBAND WAS IN A AUTO ACCIDENT AND HAS TBI, TRAMATIC BRAIN INJURY. I AM HIS CARETAKER AND THERE MIGHT BE TIMES I DO NOT ANSWER AS QUICKLY OR SHIP JUST AS FAST AS I WOULD LIKE TO. WE HAVE NUMBEROUS DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS EACH WEEK. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE UNDERSTANDING OF THIS OR CHOSE NOT TO, PLEASE DO NOT BID. I AM DOING THE ABSOLUTE BEST I CAN. You will find different, weird and interesting items here, I tend to write almost stories about each item. I have tried to cut down on that a little cause no one wants to read Gone with the Wind before they can decide to bid! I am honest and fair and do this all by myself from start to finish. My interests are my grandchildren, counted cross stitching (I have had to give that up because my eye-sight is too bad), and crocheting warm hats for the homeless and the preemies at a local hospital as well as trying to figure out who I am and what I want to be when I grow up. I hope people find my items interesting and fun and of course I hope to make some money doing this as well.
