Hi! My name is Karen and my Ebay user ID is matkaita( 534) . I've been with Ebay since Thursday, Aug 02, 2001 . I mainly sell cloth diapers and children's clothes, but you can find a little bit of everything in my auctions! I buy and sell on Ebay and it has been a very enjoyable experience for me.

As a buyer on Ebay, there are a few guidelines that I always follow to help each transaction go as smoothly as possible. I have listed these guidelines and hope that they can help to make your Ebay experiences fun! :)

Karen's tips for buying on Ebay Before placing a bid, ALWAYS check the sellers feedback. If neutrals or negatives are present in feedback, look up the neutral or neg to see if it is legit and not just retalitory feedback from someone such as a non-paying bidder. Not all sellers with bad feedback are bad sellers. One or two negatives are no big deal if the seller has mostly positives, but sellers with EXCESSIVE LEGIT negatives should be avoided. ALWAYS figure in shipping when you are figuring the amount you are willing to pay for an item. If shipping and handling charges are not present, email the seller BEFORE you bid, with your zipcode and inquire as to what the shipping price will be. If you don't like the shipping price, don't bid! Be sure that the seller uses a payment method that you are able to use. Ask ALL QUESTIONS before bidding, so you don't get an unwanted surprise at the auctions end. If the seller isn't specific about the condition of an item, ask them to describe the condition IN DETAIL! If the buyer has a "terms of service" or "terms of sale" (TOS) listed on the page, read it in it's entirety before bidding. Don't leave feedback until you receive the item, inspect the item carefully, and work out any problems with the seller. Leave negative feedback only in the absolute worst cases and only as a last resort! If you need help at all with anything on Ebay, one of the best places to get help, IMO, is the Ebay discussion boards. Visit these boards with any questions and the majority of the time, you will have an answer to any question in just a matter of minutes.

The Items I sell

Most of the items I sell are used clothing or cloth diapers, but I do sell quite a few NWT and NWOT things. I only sell items that are in very good condition with no major flaws. On the very rare occasion that I do sell and item that has a flaw, I describe it in detail and include pictures when possible so that my buyers know exactly what they are bidding on.

My Payment Methods

Currently, PayPal is the only payment method I am accepting. I do accept all forms of PayPal though. Occasionally, I will list an auction or two and accept a money order in addition to PayPal. I think PayPal is the best choice though, so if you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up for one at www.PayPal.com

My Shipping Methods

I prefer to ship USPS Priority mail. The mailing materials are free, they are good, and Priority mail gets your item to you fast! However, I will ship lighter items, such as one baby outfit, or one or two cloth diapering items via first class if it was weighs under 13 ounces. Over 13 ounces must go Priority because I am not a big fan of Parcel Post and in most cases, Parcel Post is only a few cents cheaper than Priority anyway. I ship books via media mail. All of my items are shipped from zipcode 40601. I do not charge a handling fee, but if I ship an item first class or media rate, I will include the cost of mailing materials in the shipping price. Each item over ten dollars can be insured. I LOVE it when my buyers purchase insurance, but it is optional. (On the very RARE occasion, I will REQUIRE that the buyer purchase insurance.) Insurance is a good thing though! Keep that in mind when bidding on an item from ANY seller! :)

I ship at least two days a week and usually more. When I receive your payment, I will let you know when your item will be shipped.

My Refund Policy

Since all of my items are VERY CAREFULLY inspected, I only issue refunds if you find that I have made a mistake in the item's description. If I have overlooked a flaw, I am willing to issue a full or partial refund. However, I will not give a full refund if you decide to keep the item. I'm a very nice person and very easy to work with so if you do find that I have made a mistake, don't be afraid to let me know!

Non-Paying bidders

Payment is due within 7 days. Please keep this in mind when bidding. I know that occasionally, problems do arise even with the best buyers and the buyer may need a few more days. If this should happen, AS LONG AS I AM KEPT INFORMED, I do not mind at all. A simple email to me is all it takes if the reason for delayed payment is reasonable and if the buyer plans to try to get the payment to me in a reasonable amount of time. Otherwise, if I am NOT kept informed, a non-paying bidder alert will be filed, I will then file for my fees and negative feedback will be left. So if you plan to bid, please plan to pay! :) I just HATE leaving negative feedback!
