People often wonder, "Why Mayidunk?"
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, a small band of merry teenagers decided they were going camping on a Friday afternoon. This band of light-hearted long-hairs gathered up their gear and proceeded to walk/hitchhike on that cool, Autumn evening. This little trip took us about 60 miles across the state! Around about 1:30 the next morning, they came within sight of a small coffee and donut shop, located about 2 miles from the turn-off to the campsite. It being very much cooler by then, a "balmy" 32 degrees, and having been doing more walking that night than riding, our intrepid group decided that a nice, hot cuppa joe and a sinker would be in order. However, one of the more questionable members of our troop discovered to his dismay that he only had enough money for a donut! So the lad proceeded to sit at the counter with his newly purchased donut, to take a load off. Glancing aside, he saw an older man seated next to him with a hot, steaming mug of freshly poured coffee. Not one to be easily denied, he looked at the gentleman and asked, "Excuse me sir, mind if I dunk?" Whereupon the intrepid young lad proceeded to dunk his >yet unbitten< donut in the customer's mug! The man looked at me... I smiled, and thanked him... he shrugged... and all was right in my little world!
Right now, I'm just buying stuff...
...but sometime soon, I may start selling as well. Keep an eye out, for I will have some good things to offer... at least, I hope you'll think they're good. And I promise... I'll keep my donut in my own cup!
