We are second generation antiques dealers buying and selling a general line of antiques and collectibles in eastern Maine since 1970. We run a shop located in Dedham, Maine. We're open from mid-April to late October, Sunday through Thursday and by chance on Friday and Saturday.
Directions: I-95 North to Bangor Maine, exit east on I-395 to Rt. 1A east. Approx. 7 mi. on 1A east to Rt. 46 south. On Rt. 46 so. 3.1 mi. on right.
Our Terms
Terms of our auctions:
1.Shipping is available worlwide.
2.Payment is due within 10 days from auction end. We work hard to bring you merchandise for your buying pleasure. When an auction ends we send a confirmation notice to the buyer. The notice asks for a shipping address and an acknowledgement for the winning bid. Once we receive your email, we then will email you a payment letter with payment information. Once we receive your payment you will receive an email from us stating we have received your payment and when we will be shipping your item. If we do not receive payment within 10 days from auction end we then use the ebay non-paying bidder system. We will file a non-paying bidder alert with ebay. Once this is completed the buyer will receive a reminder from ebay that payment is due. If we do not receive a payment within 10 days of filing this, we will file a final value fee request. Once this is done ebay will send the buyer a strike. If a buyer receives 3 strikes with ebay that person will be suspended indefinitely. Please make sure you really want that item before placing your bid. It costs us time to create merchandise listings and money to insert and sell merchandise on ebay. Please be prompt in completing the transaction. Help make ebay a great trading experience.
3.Buyer pays shipping/handling/insurance. We ship most items with USPS, larger items sometimes require UPS. We charge a .30 handling fee on USPS items and 1.00 on larger, UPS items in addition to the actual shipping charge from the carrier. Insurance is optional. We recommend it. Items are shipped at the buyer risk. Once an item is placed with a carrier we are not liable for loss or damage. If you receive an insured damaged item, do not wait, contact us immediately. We will assist with claims. We package our items to withstand rough handling across the country. We seldom have a claim and will continue to provide quality packaging.
4.We accept Paypal, money order, cash and personal check in that order of preference. However, it is entirely your decision and wee happy with any of these methods. Do keep in mind that we hold checks 10 business days after receipt before shipping item(s). Always have, always will. Please don email asking that we ship earlier, it won be answered. Paypal is the quickest method of payment and to receive your goods. Items will be shipped the next business day when paid with cash and money order payments upon receipt.
5.Maine residents must add 5% state sales tax. No exceptions.
6.If you receive an item and it does not match the description we will refund your payment plus one way shipping. We will refund only for the above reason. All sales are final. If the item is not as described contact us immediately so we may resolve the issue. We try hard to describe all merchandise accurately. We sell mostly only antiques and collectibles. All items are used unless otherwise stated.
7.We leave feedback upon receipt of feedback. Once you receive your item, a feedback in ebay feedback forum will tell us how you feel about the transaction. We work hard to make this a fun experience for all of our customers. Once we receive feedback we follow up with feedback.
