My name is Jim and I've been selling on eBay since 1998. Way back then I owned a little indie record store in Ohio and selected the user name "McFiver" in tribute to Detroit's legendary rock & roll band The MC5 ("Kick Out The Jams!").

The items listed here come from private collections, estate sales, consignments, collector shops and stuff my wife bugs me to get rid of. While my expertise is in The Beatles, music and pop culture in general, occasionally you'll see other items listed which have nothing to do with music.

Whenever possible, I start auctions as low as 99 cents. To me there is no greater indicator of value than the open marketplace where everyone gets a chance to pay what they want.

How come after ten years I have a little more than 2000 feedbacks? For each auction cycle I list ten to twenty items, which are carefully researched and photographed. That means each auction is special and unique, not just another batch of aimless crapola in a computerized jungle. During the summer I slack off, do some travel and replenish the inventory.
