MY MISSION STATEMENT
Hello and welcome to Max's Fishing and Junk Shop. My goal is very simple; I hope to bring you the best selections of fishing items and pricing provided on ebay. Please notice, that due to some Ebay changes and things that I had missed the first time around; I have and will be in a process of revamping the site to make it easier for everyone. Some things that you'll want to check out are shipping and handling costs for US buyers and changes for international buyers. Also, some changes will be made in the Ebay store as well.
TERMS OF SALE
1) Invoices are sent within 72 hours of purchase. If you want the correct shipping and handling amounts, please wait for adjusted invoices to be sent. Otherwise, if you pay too much I will not go back and fix them as I do not have the time. If you make multiple payments via Paypal I will not ship until you pay an additional handling charge to cover the fees on the extraneous transaction charges.
All I am asking is just wait for the invoice.
2) Items are new in the package (unless stated) but packaging may show shopwear. Such is the nature of closeouts, store buybacks, and other items purchased out of everyday stores. Some packaging will be perfect and others will be beat, as you don't have the luxury of looking at everything you buy before bringing it in. In any case the item is visually inspected to make sure it is free of defects before leaving here.
3) Items pictured without packaging will come with packaging. Lures shown without hooks will come equipped with hooks. The pictures are for the appropriate color/style representation only.
4) Hardbaits are always measured without lip unless stated. Most brands do not measure the lip in their lengths but a few brands do and will be noted in the individual listing if it is measured with the lip included.
5) Buyer's payment is expected within 10 days of purchase, unless other prearranged terms have been made. We reserve the right to relist or outright sell items which payments have not been received in that amount of time. If you cannot make or send payment in that time frame, please simply contact us before you bid.
6) Items will be shipped within 7 business days of cleared payment, and most are shipped within 72 hours. Business days are considered to be normal weekdays, not weekends and holidays. Due to an increase in my "real job" work schedule, shipping may take an additional day on occasion.
7) I only have what is listed in stock. If I have 10 of a particular item, I will list 10. Please do not ask if I have more, as I do not. I really do not have the time to be answering such questions, as that time will go into packaging, buying, and listing items.
8) International Buyers, please note, that most non lure listings are for US buyers only. Please take the time to check the listing to see if it even available to be shipped to your country.
SHIPPING RATES IN GENERAL
Shipping Rates have changed because of a USPS price increase. Rates now are going to be based on a flat rate for lures. Some items will be "free shipping" for US buyers only.
Lure Purchases For All US Buyers
1) Shipping Methods: Packages are shipped 1st Class (in boxes or bubble mailers) unless weighing over 12 OZ and then will accordingly be shipped Priority Mail whether it be weight based or flat-rate based.
2) Shipping Rates: Auction and Store Lure Rates are shown below. I will be charging a mandatory 1.00 charge for delivery confirmation. This is part of the initial shipping and handling charge. This protects both I, as a seller, and you, as a buyer.
3) Payment forms accepted are money order, cash, personal check, and Paypal. I reserve the right to let any Paypal E-check, personal check, or money order clear before sending purchased items.
4) Combining items: The highest shipping rate is taken from your purchased items. Additional items are added from the terms below. Items are combined that end on the same day that the initial items end/or are purchased on not throughout a whole week unless prior arrangements/agreements have been made. Before anyone says the rates are too high be aware that the additional charges help pay the following fees: Ebay listing fees, Ebay final auction fees, Paypal fees, packaging fees, increased postage due to weight, overhead, vehicle expenditures, etc.
5) Insurance: US Buyers have the option to insure your packages as follows: up to $50.00 add $2.00; $50.01 to $100.00 add $3.00, and so on as offered by the USPS.
Lure Purchases For International Buyers
1) Shipping Methods: Packages are shipped First Class International unless stated in listing. I reserve the right, (in the event the package cannot be shipped First Class International due to size limitations and/or any other restrictions, including countries with an excessive amount of Paypal/Credit Card fraud...(see countries below) to change the shipping rates for the package to be sent Priority Mail International/Express Mail International/Global Express Guaranteed (and include special services) as necessary.
2) Shipping Rates: Rates are as stated below unless stated differently in an auction. However, if the shipping method has changed due to the size of your package expect the rates to be higher. This usually only ever comes in to play when a large lot of lures or heavy items are purchased.
3) Payment forms accepted are International Postal Money Order, US Cash, and Paypal (paypal accepted unless you live in a country listed below). I reserve the right to let any money order or Paypal E-Check clear before sending purchased items. For those countries that do not have Paypal access, we allow buyers to send payment via Western Union.

U.S. Buyers – The high bidder(s) pays stated price for shipping and handling for single auction wins. I will combine shipping and handling on items that close on the same day of the initial purchase. “Combine” does not mean you can send one stated shipping and handling for multiple winning auctions. What it does mean is that I will try to reduce your shipping and handling total when possible.
All Other Purchases For International Buyers
International Buyers – Shipping and Handling will be determined after the close of the auction. I will combine shipping and handling on items that close on the same day of the initial purchase. “Combine” does not mean you can send one stated shipping and handling for multiple winning auctions. What it does mean is that I will try to reduce your shipping and handling total when possible. Lighter items are somewhat similar, but multiple packages and / or heavier items are always different. In any case it will be higher than the stated price for U.S. buyers

LURE COMBINING RATES (US ONLY) FOR EBAY FISHING LURE PURCHASES FOR BUY IT NOW, BEST OFFERS, AND AUCTIONS THAT DON'T START FOR .99 OR LESS.
1st Lure: 3.25 (includes delivery confirmation or proof of mailing)
2nd and up: add 1.00 per lure. Maximum S/H for lures is 12.25. Please note it may or may not ship priority mail if weight is less than 12 oz.

1ST Lure: 5.25 s/h (includes proof of mailing) plus 2.00 for each additional lure. After the third lure we round to the nearest half pound shipping rate and add 2.00 for handling and 1.10 for proof of mailing. I reserve the right to charge priority mail shipping/handling charges if necessary with extra services if deemed necessary.
