Meadow Ridge Trains & Hobbies The Real Me, Curtis The new store Meadow Ridge Train Depot was founded by my father, Ronald V. Trippensee in 1996 in the basement of his home in Jefferson City, MO. where he operated the business until his death in Aug. 2004. Dad started carrying HO & O Gauge trains and accessories. Dad loved all trains and was lucky enough to get to see the real version of some of the trains he sold. Dad passed his love of trains to me so I assumed operation of the business with Mom's help and remained in the original location until January of 2007. I also have a love of all things RC and expanded into RC cars, trucks, airplanes, helicopters, boats and parts and accessories. As you can imagine, the basement just wasn't big enough so I moved to it’s current location, Taos, MO just outside Jefferson City and the name changed to Meadow Ridge Trains & Hobbies. I am very proud to continue what my father started. My young son is also developing a love for this business and hopefully will continue in his Grandfathers footsteps as I have.
