My name is Ginger and I have been crafting for many years and truly love doing it. I got started knitting when I was a teenager and had a paper route. One of my customers owned a knitting shop and I would visit her shop every day and she would teach me how to knit. I then learned how to crochet, punch embroidery, cross stitch, needlepoint on plastic canvas and sew.

My 14 year old granddaughter has been accepted into the Who's Who for her excellent grades during her Middle School years. She was also accepted into the People to People program and will be going with this organization to tour several European countries in the summer of 2009. In December, 2003, I was diagnosed with Cerebellar Degeneration (which is a neurological disorder where my brain cells were being destroyed). The cells were being destroyed because of lead and cadmium poisoning. After 1-1/2 years of chelation (or IV treatments) every week to rid my body of these heavy metals, as of August, 2005, the metals were in the safe zone. The doctors had hoped my cells would be replenished after the treatment, but they were not, thus leaving me with several slight handicaps.
