I am a henna artist and mother of two in Fort Wayne Indiana. I love to read, write, draw, sew, and play with my kids. Earnings from this my little eStore suppliments my income as a henna artist so I can work at home and be close to my children.
I am a ICNHA certified henna artist. The heart of my business is as an artist. I sell the supplies to others so I can import in large enough bulk to make it worth while. This means I get the freshest possible henna and so do you! I often hear people say they gave up on henna (or mehndi) because they bought a premixed toothpaste style package of henna, a kit from the bookstore, or even a popular brand name of henna powder, and it just didn't work. Henna needs to be shipped quickly and stored carefully to keep it's ability to stain. I gaurantee that my henna is fresh when you get it. You'll be amazed at the difference!
I have been reading Tarot cards for 16 years. I find Tarot for being an excellent tool for discovering new perpective on yourself and your life. I use the Arthurian Tarot, and the Faery Oracle deck, but my favorite is the Mythic Tarot. I also study astrology, and palmistry. I call myself an Empath because my talent for the cards lies in my ablity to understand the feelings and experiences of others. I don't feel that this talent is supernatural in any way. If gotten goose bumps listening to a choir sing to a live audience, you've done exactly what I do. It happens because all the energy and emotions of everyone present are focused on the song, and you can feel it!
About Henna
Henna or Mehndi is an ancient art that has been practiced for at least 5000 years. The henna plant (lawsonia Inermis) contains a dye that can adhere to the dead cells at the surface of our skin. This creates a sort of temporary "tattoo" that will fade as the surface cells exfoliate. Beautiful patters can be created mixing the plant matter into a paste and painting it on the skin. These decorations are used to celebrate weddings, births, holidays, and other special occasions in the Near East, India, and North Africa. The art is now spreading accross the west and starting to mimic western tattoos. However you were your henna, it's an exotic way to express and pamper yourself.
Natural henna is a safe, painless and temporaty body art. The color is always in the range or oranges, browns, and reds. Products that claim to be black henna have little to no henna in them and are either dangerous or will only last about 3 days. Please see this link for more information. Henna lasts 1-4 weeks. It gets darkest and lasts longest on hands and feet. It will last about 2 weeks on arms and legs, and only about 1 week on the stomach or back.

My Tarot Readings
My tarot readings are real readings. They are not churned out by a computer program or cut-and-pasted card definitions. I do not read reversed meanings in cards. I feel that each card will always show both it's positive and negative elements to some degree, so reading them upright or reversesed will only show part of the story. I admit though that reversed cards tend to show themselves in less expected ways. My readings to not make your choices for you and do not tell things like the name of your next lover. My readings look at energy patterns and life lessons that will effect you and your path. The decisions will always be up to you. I have different spreads I like to use for different kinds of readings. Look for samples of my readings here soon!
