I am a stay-at-home mom of two wonderful, precocious children, ages 16 and 12. I personally find the term, "stay-at-home-mom" hilarious, as I think the kids keep me AWAY FROM more than AT home, lol! I use ebay as a wonderful way to make a little extra money, but still attend all the things that the kids have going on that are so important to them.
I sell all kinds of things on ebay, but my biggest market is childrens toys. I have so much fun, finding things that my kids played with when they were little, or searching for a lost toy for one of my customers, and guess I'm still enough of a kid at heart that I just have to have toys in the house to play with, and then pass on to others to enjoy.
I want to say a big, "Thank You!" to all my previous customers, and those who buy in the future. I have met so many nice people, and still have contact with several who've become friends throughout our ebay dealings. 99% of ebayers, I've discovered, are honest, friendly people, and it's a pleasure to meet those. The other 1%....well, I personally don't let one bad apple spoil the entire barrel! ;0)

My store policies:
My goal is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. I thoroughly clean and test each item before listing it, and take pictures, and list details in my auction, as well, of the item, condition, age, maker, etc. If you are wanting more information about a listing I have on, please feel free to contact me, as I am not an expert on toys, and want you to be an informed buyer.
Shipping:
My shipping fees are listed in the auction, and are non-negotiable. I offer combined shipping on multiple wins within 7 days IF you pay for everything on one invoice. If you pay for each item individually, Paypal charges me a higher fee on each transaction, and therefore, I will ship items separately, and not be able to combine shipping.
If shipping First Class, OR, when shipping plush toys, I generally ship in Poly shipping bags, which are USPS approved for lightweight items, and help keep my shiping costs lower, which most buyers want. If you would rather it is shipped in a BOX, you need to be aware, shipping prices are generally higher, as boxes add weight. Therefore, you will have to contact me BEFORE paying, and I will have to recalculate postage, and send a new invoice. Also, I will only ship Priority Mail if mailing boxes, instead of shipping bags, as those are the only type of boxes I keep in-stock.
International shipping:

I do sell internationally on most items~however, postage listed in auction is for US shipping costs, unless specifically mentioning a different country. International postage is generally higher. However, for heavy items (over 3 pounds), I generally will not offer international shipping. If you see something that does NOT have shipping listed to the destination you need, you may email me, and I can give a cost estimate BEFORE you buy, as heavy items can be quite expensive to ship, and I've had too many who bid, and then realize that the postage is higher than what they want to spend, so just don't pay, and then I lose my fees, time, etc. Therefore, I'm making it a requirement to get preapproved on some items, to make sure international customers are aware of the postage fees.** Also, please be aware, it is ILLEGAL for me to mark a package as a "gift", "sample", or change the purchase price to less than what was paid. Therefore, I will only mark packages "merchandise" and put the actual cost of the item paid for. Please don't ask me to do something that is against federal laws, by claiming this is a "gift", as I will not do so. For international orders only, I do not ship every day....I ship once per week on average, so please note that, as well.
For U.S. orders, I generally ship 3 times a week, as I print off the labels directly from Paypal, but do not offer this service for International packages currently-sorry. Please note, however, that sometimes problems might arise where I cannot print labels thru Paypal, so if that happens, the labels will be hand written. Sorry, I had to add this little "blurb" after my DSL was out and I had to access the internet thru my cell phone to contact ebay customers, and had someone say, "Well, your "ME" page says you print labels on-line, so why did you handwrite mine?!"
Payment terms:
Due to ebay's new policies, I can only accept Paypal as payment. Payment is expected within 7 days, or I will file a nonpaying bidder alert with ebay. Once this alert is filed, ebay gives an additional week for payment to be sent. If payment has not been sent within this two week time frame, item will be relisted, and negative feedback will be left. If you have circumstances arise that prevents you from payment, PLEASE CONTACT ME. I am not an unreasonable seller, and understand that life occasionally throws some curve balls, but communication is vital to this type of situation.
Returns/Refunds
I do offer a 7 day return policy on an item you're not happy with. To get a full refund, you MUST ship the item back to me, in the original condition. I have given refunds due to being an incorrect size, not what the customer was looking for, etc. so the item doesn't have to be broken. HOWEVER, I will NOT let a buyer keep an item, and also give a full refund. I meet mostly honest people on ebay, however, I have met a few dishonest ones, as well, and I won't be taken advantage of, either.
Examples:
1.) Negative ebayer:
Buyer purchases a Nintendo Gameboy for $49.99. I wrote down Serial numbers, took pictures, listed details, etc. When buyer contacted me and asked for a refund, because item didn't work, I told them that the item was in nice, working condition as stated, but to return the item, in original condition, and I'd give a full refund, no problem. But, it had to be the ORIGINAL item I shipped, and in good, working condition, as it was when they bought it. Suddenly, they weren't willing to return the item; instead, they'd give it to their son for his birthday, since I wanted it returned before giving a refund. Hmmmm.....if the item was broken, would you give it to your little boy for a birthday present? NO! This is the type of circumstance that I am talking about, where I will not give a refund, and allow someone to keep an item, too....I deal mostly with honest people, but I will not "play dead" to scammers.
2.) Positve ebayer
Buyer purchased a baby toy. Upon arrival, she told her daughter-in-law about the toy she'd purchased, and the daughter-in-law told her that the grandbaby already had this toy. Buyer contacted me and asked if they could return item for a refund. I said yes. Buyer graciously returned item, in nice, original condition, and they were given a full refund.
3.) Positive ebayer
Buyer purchased a Tupperware container. They received it, but it was not the size they'd envisioned. They asked to return it for a refund. Upon my receipt of the product, they received a full refund, and both buyer and seller were satisfied. |
