Our Story
Memories Are Timeless was founded by Kathy and Linda to create custom-crafted, embroidered signature memory keepsakes that will be treasured for generations. These memory keepsakes can be used to commemorate all the different milestones in a person's or family's life - births, showers, weddings, deaths, graduations, housewarmings; the list is endless - any occasion you want to remember forever.
Then, if you prefer, sign your keepsake just like our family does by using a pen, designed especially for writing on fabrics, consider having your family, friends, guests, etc. sign the fabric to commemorate your special occasion. Personalization makes your memory keepsake even more memorable when a signature includes a poem or a few words recalling a favorite moment in time.
We value Quality and Tradition and are committed to providing a timely, memorable heirloom that you and your family will treasure for years to come.
Our experience has shown that quite often your memory keepsake will be the centerpiece of a party or other celebration. After all, how many items in today's breakneck world are truly custom-made. Thank you for your order and enjoy!

Our Memory Cloth Story
Over 100 years ago, our family, the Shendler Family of Richmond, Indiana, began an ongoing tradition of circulating a cloth letter to provide a written commentary of special occasions. These cloths would typically be signed with names, dates and the thoughts and feelings of the times. Often, the circulating letter (as our ancestors described it) would travel from family household to household for many years to celebrate various goings on. Some of the interesting comments on one of our earliest memory cloths have to do with World War I and soup lines. One particularly funny 1930 comment "Hang this up there on the soup line" was penned by our late great grandmother Ruth Glunt Shendler when she was just 13 years old. We speculate that Grandma Ruth didn't really appreciate the significance of the memory cloth and her comments way back then. Well, we're certainly glad to have that moment in time still available to us today. Our cloths provide us with many other interesting slices of life from those days and times. The Shendler family has long valued its traditions, and we keep our past memories alive by displaying this memory cloth in our 170+ year old family home.
Keenly aware of how much happiness and satisfaction our memory cloths have given us over the years, we decided to share our experience by making available a custom embroidered version suitable for display in your home. Memories Are Timeless! Keep your Memories alive by ordering one of our custom-crafted keepsakes today.
