Monogatari is the japanese word for a literary form in which stories, legends or historical events are told and I find that it suits me and my clothing:)
I have been interested in Asia and mythology since I was a little child and my clothing are usually inspired by history and myths.
Clothing, some way or the other, is always part of history and your own personal 'history'.You may experience certain things while wearing something, and it may make you remember those moments later on(like a weddingdress etc). That is sortof the philosophy behind the name.

I only like to use fair quality materials such as luxury stretch velvet, silk, cotton, crêpe satin, lace etc.

Most of my items are limited collections or one of a kinds...I do not like making the exact same thing for a long time...I like to make clothes with a historical, romantic appeal. Sometimes I walk more along the lines of streetwear, then more fashion, alternative etc. Think fantasy clothing, medieval, victorian, gothic, with a 'japanese'influence(anime fabrics).

My clothing is also available at Black Widow, a well-known alternative store in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.(www.blackwidow.nl).

I will use ebay to sell sporadically sell items...this may be items for clearance etc.

I like to trade fairly-I take care in finishing my items as good as I can, state the state and measurements as good as I can, and will try to resolve problems-if they arise-fairly. I do not want someone to walk away unhappy. I love to make clothes, and that extends to making someone genuinely happy with them:)

MEASUREMENTS
I (almost) always state the measurements a person should have to fit the garment(which I find more usefull then the actual measurements of the garment:))Unless it is an item that is one size!
