| Thank you for checking me out! My name is Nick Anderson, I am the "lampworker," or glass artist, that makes all of the pieces you see on my eBay listings. Each of my pieces are handmade, completely original and uniquely different from the other. No two pieces will ever look alike. I have been doing glassworking for around six years now, and have began to develop a style that I really like with my glass. Jewelry has always been something I've really been into, and it was the perfect area for me to direct my glass skills toward. I make pendants for the most part but have done bead sets, sculptural jewelry and larger sculpture as well. |

These pieces are created by melting down "borosilicate" glass in the flame of a torch at extreme temperatures (3000-5000 degrees fahrenheit). The colored glass is combined with clear glass to create stunning focal pieces. Often highlights of other colors develop on the surface of the color that is being used to create a wonderful effect. One rod of color can usually turn out to be a whole range of colors depending on what kind of flame is used to work it. At times borosilicate glass can be unpredictable, but that's the fun of it!
