Merle's has been in business in Seward, Nebraska for the last 37 years. The business was named after my grandfather Merle. In 1967 My Father and Uncle started Merles Greenhouses Inc. They started off with three greenhouses (which are still in production today), that they purchased from a auction in Iowa. Today we are still a family business in small town Nebraska. At the business we have my father,mother,brother,wife and mother in-law working for us, so now you can see we have quite a bit of family involved in the business. In Seward we have about 48,000 square feet of greenhouses which we retail and wholesale out of , we also do complete Landscaping Design and Installation for commercial and residentail customers. We also design and Install automatic sprinkler systems, Complete Lawn Care and Mowing Servies, Tree trimming, Snow removal, and now we want to serve the internet and E-Bay buy bringing a great product and service to the internet. In a small town you have to take care of the customer if you want to remain in business and with 37 years of business we have been giving the customer what they want in a timely manner or we would not be here. We started Selling on E-bay last spring of 05' and it was a great success thanks to the E-bay community. So this year we have opened our own store on the internet. With the opening of the store we hope to better serve the customer with more items and bigger selection for you. We have anything you need for the garden or Landscape.
