Hi there! My name is Stacy Haines and these are my Bare Bottom Bears.
I was a Boyd's collector from 1994 to 2008 when I became disappointed in their quality. Then, in January 2009 I found out about the wonderful world of Artisan bears!(thanks to author John Lamb and his teddy mysteries!) After collecting quite a few quickly, I decided to learn how to make these cute little critters!With the help, support & inspiration from artists that I had adopted from, I became a bear "artist"! Now, I am addicted to creating them! My favorites are the vintage mink bears, but have worked with mohair and other vintage furs. My bears are all created, handmade & hand stitched by me with lots of love!

A little about me... I have been married to my great husband Mark for 16 years. We have 2 furry children, Dixie our miniature Schnauzer & Nikki our Shih Tzu-Bichon mix. We lost our first furry child Jessie in 2007 at the age of 15. She was also a miniature Schnauzer & the best dog ever! We miss her so much! She is shown in my picture with me & Mark.
I have been a full time hairstylist for 17 year and have owned my own small salon for 5 years. It's All About Me Salon. Well, enough about me! Enjoy the bears!!
