This venture was started in May 2005 after I returned from a two year expatriate assignment in Aguascalientes, Mexico.  I discovered the beauty and versatility of pewter during a shopping trip to Tonala and Tlaquepaque, Mexico, small towns near Guadalajara, Mexico.  Having never heard of or seen pewter before, I was surprised at the elegance and versatility of the pieces. While in Mexico, I purchased several pieces for use during dinner parties and fell in love with the product.  During my stay in Mexico, I traveled to many pewter factories and chose a supplier that had the best quality pewter. I was looking for pieces with detailed and crisp designs and pieces that I would use myself. The pieces in the website were personally chosen by me and purchased directly from a manufacturer in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico.  All the pieces are individually hand-casted from lead-free aluminum alloys and hand polished.
