I believe in treating people as I would like to be treated and I expect the same.
As a seller:
1. I promise to ship my items within 3 business days of receiving payment or:
a) Standard shipping will be bumped up to Priority shipping at no additional cost.
b) Priority shipping will be free.
2. Communicate with the buyer as to the status of their order.
3. Be open and honest as to the condition of the item.
4. Leave Positive Feedback when the item is paid for according to my terms. I will not wait for feedback to be left for me first.
All sellers need to understand that the customer orders items based on how the item is shipped as well. If a seller is selling something that will be shipped priority mail, they should not take a week or longer to ship the item, that defeats the purpose of priority mail.
As a Buyer:
1. I expect the same treatment I provide for my customers and nothing less.
Some exceptions do apply but as a rule of thumb items should arrive at the buyers destination in a reasonable time based on the shipping method used as follows:
a) Priority and equivalent = 6 days or less
b) Standard and equivalent = within 10 days
Ebay may allow 10 days for items to ship, I on the other hand, normally do not. With the exception of large businesses that do volume sales there is no reason it should take longer than 3 business days (72 hours) for an item to ship.
Good business morals are the cornerstone of a good business. Treat People the way you would like to be treated.
