Hi. My name is Tod Persellin. About my user id: I taught at an American school in Saudi Arabia for a couple years in the late 90's (was an amazing learning experience, and I was NEVER treated with any hatred or ill will by any of the people I came in contact with there), and chose my Ebay user id well before 9/11. I chose to keep the name, post 9/11, rather than start over with a new one and lose my feedback rating (which, at that time, was almost Power Seller status). Albeit not the most popular user id or topic these days, that basically sums up the story behind my Ebay username.
I have been selling stuff on ebay since 1998. I am a meticulous packer, and always use bubble wrap and popcorn peanuts when I pack your items. My materials are almost 100% recycled or biodegradable - my popcorn peanuts are PURE CORNSTARCH (they'll melt if you get em wet!), and I'm moving to a line of bio-bubble wrap. Both of these products are non-toxic to plants and animals and break down faster than traditional products (I've included a link to the info page for these products below - just navigate to the "Shipping Supplies" menu, then choose peanuts or bubble wrap). I've been using these products for about 5 years now, and was one of only a handful in my area initially to make the switch (were more expensive than the traditional packing materials, but a necessary switch that had to be made). I try to combine multiple items in one shippment when possible, and usually only add .95 handling (.50 for materials, and .45 for delivery confirmation) to the EXACT shipping. So, you get HONEST SHIPPING, NOT inflated shipping like you may have seen other sellers doing.
Feedback on Ebay is a very important step of the overall sale. I value feedback from my customers, just as I did from my principals, parents, and students back when I was teaching. However, leaving feedback isn't always a mutual deal when selling here - for a good illustration of that, just check my feedback page, specifically comparing the number of feedbacks I have LEFT for my customers with the number of feedbacks I have received (almost 1k difference!). That said, it's up to YOU to leave feedback for your sellers. I ALWAYS leave feedback for my customers, and hope that you'll do the same - it's a way for future buyers to see how a seller is doing currently!
