At the tender age of two I completed my first Murial. As this work of art was on our Kitchen wall it was not so well accepted by my only two critics at the time (MOM & DAD). However when I refused to have my method of self expression muffled they finally relented and at age 11 I became the youngest student ever accepted for private study under North Carolina Artist CLAUDE TATUM BAILEY.

My first Commissioned Murial was at age 16 for a Church in North Carolina. I began work with a Large Stained Glass Studio in North Carolina at age 17 and Moved to Sarasota, Florida at age 19 to work with another Stained Glass Studio.

I began making FIRST DAY COVERs for a few Stamp Collector Friends at age 20 in 1985 and began producing LTD EDITIONS that were sold through Linn's and Stamp Collector Newspapers with the North Carolina Statehood Stamp Aug 22, 1988.
