QUALITY - SERVICE - PROFESSIONALISM Hello and Thank-you for stopping by - it has been awhile since I've updated this page! First for those who are new to Midwest Philatelic - a couple things about me. I have been a stamp collector for 30 years. Last summer I was faced with a career change decision and I chose to make my almost life-long hobby into a career - combining working for myself from home, in a medium (internet market) I enjoy, and working in a field that brings us so much of what I call quiet pleasure. Midwest Philatelic is located in Marshall, Michigan a very nice small town which is known for it's abundance of Historical Architecture and a wealth of very high quality antique shoppes. What I am trying to do is to provide accurately described, quality U.S. Philatelic material to the EBay customer in the fastest timeframe possible. Do I hit one out of the park everytime, well no - but I do swing for the fences everytime and the positive feedback noting the quality and service of Midwest Philatelic are deeply appreciated. A NOTE ON SALES AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION I am no longer what you would call exactly new in this marketplace. Midwest is rapidly moving toward it's first 1000 sales on EBAY. I've been busy since opening this company in August of 2003. To all my customers - again I express my gratitude for taking the chance and buying from someone so new to the marketplace and for allowing me to achieve a positive record of customer satisfaction. I truly have enjoyed meeting so many people that share this hobby, and there are so many fantastic people on EBay both buyers and sellers - what a great community!! We read a lot about how our hobby is not growing - can't see it from where I'm sitting - I have had the pleasure of meeting people from all demographics at all levels and numerous areas of collecting and it just keeps getting better. ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION Many of you who have purchased from me will notice that your Feedback is posted well before you recieve the product. the reason is two-fold. Number 1 - I post feedback when I ship - so its a quick check for you to know your product is on the way - fully 95% of my product leaves here within 12 hours of payment recieved. Number 2 - I leave feedback prior to your recieving the product because I stand behind my product and service. I expect that the stamp or stamps that I am sending you are exactly what you expected or better. This is the way I want to be treated and I treat other people the same way. Finally if there is a problem with a item you have been sent - I certainly am not perfect (no matter what I may want to think at a given moment) and I have made errors whether it be missing a crease or a tiny margin cut or actually misidentifying something - it happens to everyone. What I do about it is the difference of Midwest Philatelic. The most simple approach is to take back the product at a full refund, period. Fortunately, this is few and far between but it is why I am confident enough to seal my end of our transactions completely when I ship a product to you. Well...enough of my rambling for now.
