June 1995 That's the month we began doing business on the internet.

After 23 years of trade shows, mail orders, and store fronts we went worldwide to distribute over one million magazines in stock. They date 1843 to the present. We have near complete runs of magzines like Sports Illustrated, LIFE, LOOK, Saturday Evening Post, People, Ladies Home Journal, McCalls, to name a few of the 400 different titles we stock.

Boy have we got stories to tell! Digging magazines from a deep well in New Mexico, A semitruck load of magazines from Connetticut, A kilo of Maurijuana hidden in a 1961 Thunderbird. Carrying loads of 1910 Ladies Home Journals down three flights of stairs in Pennsyvania. Rooms stacked to the ceiling with magazines in South Dakota. Tossing bound volumes of Ladies Home Journals, 1915, Good Housekeeping 1920 and scores of Scientific American 1918 in the dumpster because we had no room to store them. Yes, we were crazy in those old days. Getting 16,000 newspapers 1890-1950 for free because they didn't want to store them (neither did we). Buying complete runs of Life, Judge and Leslies magazines, once belonging to the accountants for those periodicals. Loads of Maxfield Parrish.
