I have been  buying and selling  since I was  8 and found a bow in the trash.

I have owned one antique shop and  2 resale shops in Houston Texas at same time   for 17 years while  Running my constructon company American Building  And Remodeling   .Previously I  owned Wimberly Jewlery  and  had  several  buy  sell shop similar  to   pawn shops .I learnd  most of what I know  through  my active participation in law inforcement and  the need  to be able  to identify   authintic vs reproduction items .I also  worked  undercover  with  an organized  crime task force  at auctuin houses  and learned  how  to bid and  that it is always necessary  to preview  your   prospective  purchases.As  a direct result of  that I  be came  more interested in  in doing  this  as a living and  started  a construction business  to support my antique habit  to this day I can not pass  a garage sale or  auction ,Most likely  would have  kept  the last  3 small fortunes  that I have been lucky  enough  to aquire Except  I can never pass  an AUCTION  ll and I still am buying. I HAVE as  an EXAMPLE 9 PIANOS!! I am  currently retired  and have been so since 1997 .

 I have 3 barns  30 ft  by 50 ft  full of stuff and a garaged  that has no less than (9) pianos  in it .I own approx 80.000  worth of Ivory  pieces and another 20,000 of carved bone ivory  .That doesnot count  the  several hundreds of toys and artifacts that span from old wood to commercial freezers,fishing equip,dolls, (70)or so kerosene lamps.couches (5), end tables,desk (14) and a few ships wheels  as well as one old  loom .

Other  than that  I also have (5) happy x wives  who shared in the wealth  during and after our marriages . Yes  ALL  MY X' S  Do live in Texas.  With  my 13 children  , 2 step children  and 3 foster  children  most of  which  are grown .

I MOVED   TO Earling, IOWA by accident where I currently  spend more  than  I make on a monthly basis. BUT IT IS  FUN AND LIFE is TO BE LIVED  TO FULLEST !!! Can't Take it with me but  I know When  I DIE   there will be  A really  big AUCTION which will drive my heirs  nuts !!!
