Thanks for stopping by. My name is Cheryl Wood Empson.This first picture is a page from Debra J. My folk art paintings and carvings are in collections in many states of the U.S. and some countries abroad.I have done many carved lucite sculptures and you can find more about that and the history of my father by clicking on the button below. I was born in Seattle in 1949 I grew up in my dads art studio literally........my bassinet under his work tables! then helped him with his work for many years.There is an article about my father James Wilbur Wood that appeared in the Winter of 1999 issue of Lucille Tempesta's "Vintage Fashion and Costume Jewelry." AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE ARE MORE CARVINGS I HAVE DONE TAKE A LOOK! I feel so priveliged to have been taught the art of carving in Lucite by my father who was a Master Carver. I also enjoy making Fashion Doll Clothing some easy off easy on for the young girl and some are made with the Collector only in mind, and Sculpting 1:12 AND 1:6 (Fashion Doll Scale) Miniature Animals

Care instructions for lucite:

1.Never leave lucite items in a hot car window.

2. Rather than continuously dry dusting your lucite its best to wash in dish soap and warm water, rinse, and pat dry with a soft cloth.

3.Lucite can scratch so treat it gently but remember it will last for many decades! enjoy!
