 Hope you enjoy your visit. Welcome and here is a little about me. I now live in a small town across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. Some refer to Louisville as Derby City since that is where the Kentucky Derby is run. I lived in Louisville for 45+ years so I still consider Kentucky my home. I am married to a wonderful woman who is my love. My daughter is the joy of my life. I have worked with electronics most of my life and enjoy fixing things. To restore an item that is not working correctly and make it work again gives me a real sense of accomplishment. I have been given the opportunity to go to work with "Mr. Hickok" Wendell Hall who was an expert at repairing all electronic and specialized in Hickok equipment. It is a pastime that I enjoy very much. I try to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated. I will not sell anything that does not work although all electronics sold on eBay are sold "AS IS." I don't want someone else's garbage and I don't think they would want to find out they had won the bid on mine. I give everyone I buy from or sell to feedback with eBay and hope they do the same for me. As you can see most I have dealt with have been happy. I wish that everyone I have bought from would have left a comment I would have many more comments here. PayPal I love it! Makes everything so simple. No worrying about payments getting lost in the mail. No expense of paying for money orders. Have you ever had a money order lost in the mail? I have and it cost to try and recover it. I say try because I paid a $18 recovery fee over a two year agos and still do not have my money. Here is another reason for using PayPal. I wish everyone used PayPal or a service like it. No, I do not work for or have stock in PayPal. I feel a PayPal is a good service and people should try it if they have not in the past. I thought that using a US Postal Money Order was about as safe as you could get. I sent a US Postal Money Order for a 500 dollar payment for an item I purchased. It was lost in the mail. I had wait 90 days and pay a fee to have a trace put on the lost Money Order. Not wanting the seller to wait the amount of time it was going to take to get the replacement Money Order I talked him into using PayPal for his payment. The Post Office told me the Money Order had not been cashed and finally issued a replacement Money Order, made out to me, after about four months. I cashed the Money Order and thought that was the end of it. Six months later I get a bill from the US Post Office for $500.00. Seems that the original Money Order was finally cashed by someone and the Post Office is making me responsible for the $500.00.
