I have enjoyed eBay for over nine years and am extremely thankful to eBay for providing me with a vehicle which has enabled me to maintain my sense of independence. You see, on October 12, 1992, the day after my birthday, I woke up to a nightmare... the right side of my body from head to toe was paralyzed.
Fearing a stroke (good God, I was only in my 30's!), I was diagnosed within 5 days with MS, multiple sclerosis. Though I was able to continue to work for the next few years, albeit in a much reduced capacity, I soon had to admit I could not do it all on my own anymore. After 16 years in Nevada, I moved back to Chicago and in with my parents; full circle.
Since I had always defined myself through my work, I was afraid that my identity would disappear but thankfully, that is when I found eBay. So far, this 16 year journey has given me a much clearer understanding about what is important in life and eBay, along with the many internet friends I've made through her, has blessed me with opportunities I never would have had. I have also created this page to clarify terms and conditions for my auctions. My hope is that this information will help make transactions go more smoothly and will assist in answering any questions.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Winning bidders MUST complete the eBay checkout process by clicking on the PAY NOW button at the top of the auction item page. Doing so will complete your PayPal payment. You are required to pay for your item no later than three days after the item's end. Failure to do this within 3 days' time may result in the item being relisted.
SHIPPING IS DONE BY USPS ONLY
CAREFUL packaging and handling with delivery confirmation. Most items will be sent in a bubble envelope either new OR recycled. I like saving our landfills as much as possible. Shipping prices can be found under payment details at the top of each listing page. Shipping charges will be discounted for combined rate provided single payment is made through PayPal but you must WAIT FOR MY INVOICE. Any additional costs will be outlined in item description if applicable. Shipments are sent almost every other day. Remember, I have MS and if I have an inordinate amount of shipping going out there may be a one or two day delay but usually I do get to the post every two days. Also, please let me know if you need it faster because I will try to accommodate your needs. Worried? Check my feedback; I am regularly credited with fast shipping and careful packaging!
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
I do NOT ship outside of the United States any longer because it has become cost prohibitive to do so.
RETURNS
Refunds will only be allowed if the item has been described inaccurately or totally misrepresented otherwise all items are sold as is. That being said, I am a very reasonable person and if you email me with a problem we can work it out TOGETHER. Check my feedback and buy with confidence. Refund will be for item purchase price only;
return shipping, tracking & insurance costs are MANDATORY and are the responsibility of the buyer.
