HOUSE OF BAMBOO is a husband & wife team based in Hollywood, California who have been dealing in vintage clothing in one way or another ( vintage store, warehouse, buyer ) for the past 25 years . As well as dealing , we collect & wear vintage clothes in our daily lives too.
We are not 'johnny come latelys' , we have spent many years researching & working in this field , so you can be assured that you will be getting the real thing . We DO also sell 'reproduction' items but they will always be clearly marked as such .
We specialize in 40's & 50's vintage but will sell items from any era if we find them interesting enough.

Many 'Bricks & Mortar'vintage clothing stores have high overheads that are passed on to the customers , as an online store our overheads are lower which means YOU the customer get better value for money ...our prices just can't be beaten !
The HOUSE OF BAMBOO is open 24 hours a day , 365 days a year , WORLDWIDE! As well as America we have regular repeat customers in the U.K. , Australia ,Sweden , Germany , Japan , Netherlands, France , Russia, Spain , New Zealand , Italy , Greece ...EVERYWHERE !
We think our feedback speaks for itself , but of course there are always a few 'bad eggs' who are either too impatient , rude , incompetent, negligent etc etc , but thankfully most of our customers are wonderful & come back & shop with us regularly. If we have made a mistake we will gladly attempt to make amends , firing off a swift 'negative' at us without first trying to correct any problem will simply get you blocked & a negative in return .
