Long about 2 years ago there was a Man and a Woman.........
The Man had his own business for several years and had already had some difficulties in life with wives and whatnot. His attitude of Positive thinking will get you everywhere and his ability to smile at even the hardest of times got him through this with little little efforts. He sat back and observed what was going on around him. Well, wouldnt you know it, he rolled into a little Tavern way off the beaten path. He then noticed a girl working there whom he had seen before but knew was attached to someone else. So patiently waited till the news of her separation was spread across the greater Arvada area. This Wise and Insightful man made his move, he finnally after talking to her for a shjort time asked if she were interested in Football, Well her response was "Hell ya who isnt that is a native of Colorado?"
And So it began................. Monday night football bronco stadium September 22nd, 2003, Raiders vs. Broncos, perfect seats unbelivable crowd,(unbeliveable game too). The broncos fired up and won. The next step was getting to know her a little better, he asks "well what do you think of Ice Hockey?" .As you might imagine she was beside herself, "What a guy going to take her to a Colorado Avalanche Game." Good Grief, this was like a dream come true for her so naturally she accepted the offer and went. Well the crowd rolled into the Pepsi Center as the lights began to dim the snow started to fall from the sky, and with the roar of the sound system and the Av's down on the Ice warming up, she could not belive it was true it just could not have been any better than that.
So by now, I am sure you have guessed a few more hockey games and few more sporting events (He really likes his sports - She likes her Harley), they fast became an item, almost like they had known each other thier whole lives. I am not absolutly sure of the night but the Av's were warming up on theIce and the announcer annoucing the players, Said" Peter Forseburg and the crowd started to chant.
Well the girl, being the blond that she is said to the man why are they calling Peter Forseburg "The Grape"? oh my goodness the Man giggled and said not the "The Grape", but "The Great" later on in the week, there they sat enjoying each other's company when the girl looks up at the Man and said "you know, you are the Grapest man I have ever met" and the Man replied with, "thank you but you are my Miss Grape"! and they will live happily ,(provided the Hockey comes back) ever after .
Today .......... Leah and Robert Live by the rule "We dont quit playing when we get old, We get old when we quit Playing! So let your inner child out."
So just
