![]() Mitch and Jason surrendered to the Empire in late October 2006 Hey, Hey, Hey!! Welcome to our page!!! Hi there, by clicking our ME button, it means that you want to know something about us. Well, here our story... We're actually 2 people, Mitchell and Jason. We are both collectors. We collect many different things, which means that one of us found your auction appealing :D First off, we're from Toronto, Canada, and wee been collecting since we were kids. We decided to make this Ebay account to help us increase our collections. We were high school kids with dreams of owning it all :D This account belongs to me, Jason. I was the first to start earning money :p Mitchell has since taken over as the main user, as he spends more than me (I think he's crazy). Also, since it's not possible to hook 2 email addresses to an Ebay account, Mitchell will occasionally have to forward me your information. He's usually quite quick at that. Unfortunately, my schedule does not allow me to check my email everyday. But I will pay in a timely manner. Now that we're all "grown" up, we're no longer living in close proximity, have busy lives, and Mitchell is about a 30 min drive across town, email tag is our 2nd best method of communicating with each other. How can you tell which of us won your auction? Mitchell = Transformers (virtually anything), cards, Star Wars, Star Trek, Buffy Jason = GI Joe (toys and comics) How we give feedbackWe give feedback based on a few simple criteria -Quick delivery=if item(s) were received within 11-20 days from the day we paid. Super quick delivery means that you got it to us in less than 10 days. After 21 days from the day we paid, you will not get this section of our feedback. (Exceptions have been made, if you let us know in advance there's a delay due to personal reasons or whatever) We pay you quick, we also expect relatively quick service...we were brought up with "The Golden Rule" -Item(s) were well packaged=that kinda self-explanatory. -Item(s) were as described=that also self-explanatory. -Honest shipping cost=this one is not hard to get from us. Along with the actual cost of shipping (whatever it says on the stamp), we don't mind a small "handling" fee (cost of protection of item(s) is important); we know that it costs money to buy bubble wrap, box, etc. The scenarios below should explain a lot... Scenario #1If you charged us $10US for shipping, and the package arrives with a stamp of $4US, and there was no special care in packing the item(s), it not honest shipping. Scenario #2If we bought a single card from you and you charged us $3US for shipping, it better have a soft sleeve, and a top loader. Because it should only cost $1 for the stamps, and only $1 for a small padded envelope. Scenario #3For those who sent me a single card in a top loader, and ship it in a simple white envelope. Shipping should NOT cost $3US, those envelopes you can buy 100 for $10. On top of that, it a guaranteed way that you will not get the tem(s) were well packagedon our feedback to you. We've had sellers who have individually packed each item; wrapped in foam (nicely) and taped, then on top of that wrapped the wrapped items in bubble wrap, then placed them securely in more newspaper and bubble wrap to prevent shipping. That was superb packaging and one handling charge that we'd gladly pay. Then there were those sellers who put all the items crammed together in an oversized box. Yes, there may have been lots of newspaper and foam to prevent external damage, but during the post office's handling (since the box never stays "one side up"), all the items get scraped against each other whenever the box rolls. There have been exceptions, where we're been charged $9US for shipping but when the box came, and the stamp only says $4. Normally that is not honest. But the box was purchased (meaning it not a used crummy box), and there significant (almost to the point of overkill) amount of protection within the box to ensure zero damage.
Charging us $20US for shipping and the stamp says $5US, no amount of protection for our items would justify a handling fee. We would be demanding some money returned. Even if you use couriered service with insurance and tracking number, the price on the stamp would reflect the actual shipping cost. Remember, the price on the stamp and the way you package the item(s) are our indicators, on whether or not to include the "honest shipping cost" on our feedback to you. Since we're from Canada, we know that shipping from the US to up here is not much of a hassle, nor is it much more expensive.
