I mainly deal in books as I am a total bookworm, and most are my own, but some of the items listed are for friends or family and those items are sometimes not eligible for combined postage e.g. bulk clothing items.

From the 01/04/09 the service of posting once contact has been made for buyers with excellent feedback for speedy delivery without waiting for payment to clear will be abolished, due to abuse :( and I cannot afford it.  My apologies to the sincere ebayers, as this service was quite popular.  Though I might make exceptions case by case for the ebayers that I know or have excellent feedback.

Help FAQ, Guidelines:

Q: Why do I have to pay for registered post if I want to pay via Paypal?

A: If your item is lost by Australia Post and you claim through Paypal, the seller is only covered if the item is trackable which REGISTERED POST provides so a refund would come from Paypal.  If the seller does not provide a tracking number and even if the item is lost through no fault of the seller Paypal just takes the refund out of the sellers Paypal account.  I would not want this to happen if Australia Post loses a parcel or I get a dishonest buyer, as I would be out of pocket.  So for those that insist to pay via Paypal without Registered post, it is not my responsibility if a parcel is lost!

Q: Do you combine postage?
A: Yes I do combine postage. As a guide I can usually get 2 books into a 500gm prepaid satchel and up to sometimes up to 12 and more for skinny ones in a 3kg satchel.

Q: When are questions answered?
A: I work full time and weekends, but definitely within 48 hours, usually within 24 hours.  If I don't answer within this time frame then a cyclone most probably hit the power in town.
 
Q: Do you charge a "handling" fee?
A: Yes, it is already included in the postage fee for Australian buyers
 
Q: Do you allow pickups?
A: I do not allow pickups from my home, but am happy to arrange a suitable time and place for both parties
 
Q: If you don't have a title that I am looking for can you find it for me?
A: Please ask if there is a particular title that you are searching for.  I will try to find it in fastest time possible time.  Price will be what it cost me to purchase and $5 tracking fee.  I also have over 5000 titles that I am slowly adding to my store so I may already have it.  Check with me!
 
Q: Do you gift wrap and can you send a purchased item directly to it's intended recipient?
A: I can gift wrap any item that you purchase and include a gift card as well.  You must state at the end of the auction that you would like this service and provide the alternate address to send it to.
 
Q: Even though you say you anly accept Direct Deposit/Bank Cheque or PaypaL, can I send you a money order, personal cheque or cash?
A: I do not accept personal cheques.  With cash is at your own risk and money order must be arranged with me.
 
Q: Do you send me an email to let me know that payment has been received?
A: Yes, as soon as I get the chance, normally this confirmation of payment will also state when I will post.
 
Q: Do you expect me to leave feedback first?
A:  I don't leave feedback until I receive it and know that you are happy, this will also encourage you to communicate with me before leaving any neutral or negative feedback.  As my reputation is very important to me.  I used to leave feedback first but have found over time that people are more willing to approach me with any problems they may have with product or service if I wait.  eg: If I leave feedback and the buyer isn't happy for whatever reason they might leave a negative or neutral without letting me rectify the situation.
Don't forget communication is important, so contact me if you have a problem so we can work it out, but don't forget lost items or slow transit by Australia Post is NOT my responsibility. Remember the feedback you are leaving is about whether I posted iwithin a reasonable time from when CLEARED payment was received - NOT whether the post office delivered it to you quickly. I usually post next business day on receipt of cleared payment.   ECHEQUES can sometimes take up to 12 days to clear especially from an overseas bank, so please don't leave feedback e.g "took a while", as I post next business day on receipt of CLEARED payment. If neutral or negative feedback is left before any communication, I will not be able to help you.
Also please make sure you check and read the listing thoroughly before leaving feedback, as I sometimes add gifts, books that are from poor to good condition books that are still readable as gifts. 
 
Q: Do you recommend REGISTERED POST?
A: Yes I do and also EXPRESS POST, it is speedy and has a tracking number.  You should always use registered or express.  If you decline these options I will not take responsibility for ANY lost item. In simple terms:  If you decline these options,  you do NOT get a REFUND or CREDIT!  I will  do my very best to track the missing item down,  but I will not offer a credit on an item that has NOT been registered.  If you would like to pay via Paypal you must email me to ask for registered post invoice.  If you don't and pay via Paypal, it is your responsibility for not choosing registered.  It would be very unfair for you to claim through Paypal if you have not asked for registered post, as Paypal takes the refund from seller's account even if loss is at fault with Australia Post or major delay.  However in all fairness Australia Post has been very good.

 
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: No.  I do not give refunds. So please choose carefully.
 
Q: Do you also sell new books?
A: Yes sometimes, or like new bought new from bookstore and gently read once or twice by me.
