Welcome

 I've been a registered member of eBay since September 22, 1998.
As a collector of concrete mixers and vintage construction toys,
I found eBay to be a valuable resource.

The Chandler Collection

 Collecting toy trucks and vintage construction equipment brings me back to the world of the young child when we had time to play. It's fascinating to examine what was considered a toy generations ago and compare it to the toys of today.
I'm interested in collecting toys of construction, as opposed to toys of destruction
which we seem to see so much of now.

I've been doing this unconsiously most of my life having saved toys
that my four brothers and I played with as kids.
I've been collecting "seriously" for the past 30 years.
In that time, I've come to realize that collecting anything, is often
more about the people you meet and the friends you make,
than it is about the acquisition.

Buddy L #280A- -Track Mounted Mixer- -Late 1920's. This mixer came with instructions on how to make real concrete.


This is 1 of 10 known to exist with the kelly green water tank.
