Miyuki Gal Beads
Bead Sizes

LOW SHIPPING RATES -  If you buy 1 tube of beads or 100, the shipping for US and Canadian customers is FREE!

International Customers -  The shipping rates vary from country to country but the price is reasonable.   As an example - 2 of my delica mixes, a total of 16 small tubes, costs under $5.00 for both England and Australia.   There are large Global Priority envelopes that cost $12.95 and they hold a huge amount of beads, over 80 packages of Delicas and over 40 of the larger seed bead packages.   These are a true bargain!

There are new colors in Miyuki 11/0 seed beads and I'm listing new ones all of the time.  There are some new silver-lined colors that are wonderful, as well as some beautiful new opaque colors.

It seems like as soon as I make one huge revision of my store items then it's time to do another.  All of the Delica beads are now sold in 8 gram ziplocks and I'm slowly getting the other shapes of beads into 14 gram ziplocks.   The 3" tubes hold almost exactly 14 grams so you'll get the correct amount of beads, no matter which container they're in - except for the 4mm cubes, there are not quite 14 grams in the 3" tubes.

I will continue to sell the color mixes in tubes for now.

And the pictures need changing - that's my latest project.  When eBay made it's last big update, the picture quality went down down down.  So I'm fixing them slowly.

DIFFERENCES

The beads pictured are, from left to right - 11/0 Delica beads, 11/0 Miyuki seed beads (rocailles) 11/0 Matsuno seed beads, Miyuki 8/0 seed beads, Matsuno 8/0 seed beads, Miyuki 6/0 seed beads, Miyuki 3mm cubes, Miyuki 4mm cubes, and Miyuki 3.4mm fringe beads.

Miyuki and Matsuno are both Japanese bead manufacturers, Miyuki being the more famous since they invented Delica beads.    Both companies make lovely beads that are a joy to use as the beads are uniform in size and the holes are proportionately large.   No stuck needles!

Matsuno 11/0 seed beads can be slightly larger than Miyuki 11/0 seed beads. This can be a problem if you are weaving beads and want your work to be perfectly even.   For everything else the two brands can be used interchangeably.

My Delica beads are SMALL – about the size of a 15/0 regular seed bead (rocailles).    They are perfect little cylinders and tile together oh-so neatly.    They are the bead of choice for most bead weavers.    While there are now 4 sizes of Delica beads, I only carry 11/0 which is by far the most popular.
