The kinda eBayer I am....
I usually can be found bidding in stuff relating to IKEA or even in Everything Else>Health and Beauty... though, I do occasionally look for items related to Samoa (my mother's homeland).
For sellers: As you can see from my feedback, I'm usually pretty quick on the draw with payments. I don't bid on something unless I know I'm going to pay for it at the end of the auction, whether I use the 'Buy It Now' option or wait it out. I will always communicate as much as possible through emails - and in the time I've eBayed, I've had two run-ins with sellers but opted not to leave negative feedback. (Guess I'm just a nice person that way.) If I'm asked in private emails for recommendations on a seller, though, I'll be truthful about my own experience, whether it's good or bad.
A warning for those of you out there considering buying DVDs for your loved ones - PLEASE, please check the seller's feedback, and be VERY wary of anything that is marked "Asian Edition" - in addition, please check the About Me page for MPAA (they have their own page here on eBay) for more information. Past experience with a seller proved that I should have been more vigilant. Don't let yourself get suckered into it. If you REALLY want to be safe - don't get your DVDs and audio on eBay unless it's under certain conditions. Go to Amazon or something and get them there, and save yourself the headache.
