Who We Are

Geppetto's & Glinda's Gifts was founded in 1995 by Marsha and Wayne Landau in Mt. Sinai, New York. Initially the business focus was to offer unique handcrafted decor for the home, with marketing and sales limited to suburban Long Island.

Shortly after relocating to the Dallas Metroplex in 2001, the couple purchased a small farm located in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas. They soon discovered that their farm had acres of hardwood trees and enchanting Quartz crystal. Marsha was fascinated with the luminescent beauty of the crystal and quickly incorporated it into her art. Wayne put together a world class workshop and started crafting beautiful hardwood treasures. Zachary, their now 9 year old son, became an expert in rock hounding, finding stunning examples of Quartz crystal.

What We Sell

Voila!  Geppetto's & Glinda's Gifts was reborn, incorporating the natural elements found in the Ouachita Mountains into exquisite custom designed and handcrafted jewelry and home decor. Each piece is one of a kind, showcasing the enchanting colors and shapes of the crystal and the warm, rich beauty of the wood.

Giving in to a lifelong love of antiques, particularly fine porcelain, glass and  rare books,  Marsha decided to expand Geppetto’s & Glinda’s offerings to include small antiques and unique collectibles.

New Products & Offerings

We will be introducing several new lines of products to our store in the very near futures. We will be offering stunning handcrafted hardwood walking sticks that incorporate magnificent quartz crystal and soft Doe skin leather. We are also adding a category of finished and unfinished handcrafted wood products. Our customers can choose the finished product or simply buy unfinished pieces to decorate themselves. We are adding store categories for military and political memorabilia.
