Hello, I'm an old geezzer (retired) and having a ball with this ebay stuff. What started out as buying a few things on ebay has turned into a lucrative enterprise. Now, my biggest fear is the telephone line going down on when my auctions close.
This has been quite an experience. Most of my auction items tend to be business or industrial "stuff" and I like to keep the starting bid low - like at $9.95. I use reserves when my trading partners specify a minimum amount.
Most of my store items tend also to be business or industrial "stuff" and I like to keep the asking price at bargain levels.
For the larger items, we are set up for freight shipments. These take a little longer to complete so please be patient.
For the most part, my items are sold as is. We attempt to test our items. If it has a cord, we plug it in. If it has a button, we push it. We try to document the extent and results of the test. We try to do the same for the items up for repair and parts.
Feel free to ask any questions you have and good luck bidding
