The below are rules that you should follow for a good ebay transaction. I'm not trying to sound cold but sometimes a bidder or two will try your patience in the worst sort of way.

1. Please only bid on stuff you plan to pay for

2. Be prompt in sending your payment.

3. Tell me beforehand if you're from a foreign country because it affects shipping costs & how long I wait for payment.

4. Don't send payment a month or later after the end of an auction & expect me to have kept the book because I may have sold it to the next highest bidder after receiving NO response to my reminder e-mails. I consider it rude to make me wait that long especially if I'm not told of extenuating circumstances.

5. Please tell me what's going on if there's a delay. I do not yet have the ability to read minds.

6. Please tell me if you need cardboard inserted into the package or prefer a box. I usually use a padded envelope but will do the above by request, but only if you warn me ahead of time.

7. I recommend you handle your own transactions as often friends/significant others may forget to send out your envelope, send it to the wrong address or buy an MO for the wrong amount. I still hold you responsible for that error since I can't tell if you're telling the truth and I still feel the pain of not getting what I'm owed, regardless.

8. I recommend that you don't bid for friends. YOU will owe me the money & YOU will be the one who gets negative feedback if he/she flakes. Tell her/him to get her own ebay ID.

9. If you want to combine auctions (as in buying a bunch of stuff in the same week & saving on shipping), please tell me ahead of time and which auctions you plan to bundle together. I still retain the authority to say yes or no to the request.

10. DON'T, I REPEAT, DON'T ASK ME TO SELL OFF-LINE TO YOU. Either bid or don't bid, it's that simple.

11. If you are a bidder with ZERO feedback, contact me first before bidding so I can stress to you the importance of following the above rules.
