mod50s modern 20th Century Design & Art Hello, welcome to my "about me" page. I am Maurice. I have a shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma called mod50s modern. I specialize in mid-century modern furniture and decor, but deal in all genres of antiques. I have expanded into the art field over the past several years. I co-founded and ran a successful 1950s store for 15 years called Deco to Disco in Tulsa. Mod50s modern is my newest venture sure to be around for many years to come. I began collecting 50s items in the 1980s, buying my first red analine dye Eames chair at our local flea market for $15.00. After reading Greenbergs Mid-Century Modern, I began buying designer items and became HOOKED!! I am still hooked to this day, and love dealing in all aspects of the 20th century, from early to late! If you are ever travelling old route 66, make sure to stop in my store. I am located at 2921 E. 15th St., in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Make sure to call ahead to make sure I am around.
