When I was 8 years old, my father brought out his big Scott International Album and asked me if I'd like to collect stamps. I enthusiastically said yes and was given a beginners album and some of his duplicates to get me started. That was a half-century ago.Modern-Vue Stamps was the name of the approval service he and I started when I was in High School. It was set aside while I went to college and then into the Army where I served as a photographer in Viet Nam. After the Army I freelanced as a photographer and still shoot stock photos and write photo business guides. I'm also an ND, a Doctor of Naturopathy.
When my father died in 2004, I was left with the task of liquidating his stamps, coins, and other things, and so resurrected "Modern-Vue Stamps" as my new eBay name. Then, after more than 30 years away form the hobby, I began collecting once again. You can visit my blog, Stamp Talk, with the link given below.
