I am a little old to be a baby boomer but close enough,at present I am 66 you know like the great road,I have been going to auctions since I was a litle girl,and believe me it's a disease that can't be easily cured.I had a large collection of items I couldn't let pass me by and my oldest son started selling a few things on ebay,I didn't even know how to turn on a computer,so I spent two thousand dollars at a computer show,had no idea of how to use it but after spending that much money I had better learn,it was awful,terrible but my wonderful customers were patient ,understanding and very helpful.I have based my business on trying to treat others as I want to be treated trying to wrap everything like it is a raw egg,and honesty.I have quit a couple of times and come back ,so I must like it,I took off for a year to care for my daughter who died of cancer and was so glad to have something to do to keep me busy after that,I have 4 children and 4 step children and a total of 25 grandchildren.My husband and I attend auctions together and he is a great helper and best friend also a good wrapper,we have made good friends with the postal employees.In the earlier years we had much more contact with our customers ,emails pictures etc.We made some very good friends that way,now it is more business and thats good but I miss the old friends,sending emails.We live in the heart of auction country and could attend an auction everyday and every evening if we wanted to.We love kids and animals and auctions.
I got the momcat-4 name from my two sons who call me that and the number 4 for the number of children I had 2 boys 2 girls.My passion is glass ,I love glassware collect Fenton and fairy lights ,I also have over 300 cookie jars,my husband loves and knows tools.
