Why Monday Betty? No, I am not Betty and Monday is not my last name in fact I do not know anyone with the name Monday Betty. One day while I was driving my Grandaughters home from school, they were in the backseat talking and giggling like young girls do. I thought I heard one of the girls call a friend "Monday Betty" and I asked "do you really have a friend named Monday Betty"? After my girls quit laughing hysterically I found out that one of the girls actually was telling the other that she was "Much Better" at something (Grama has a serious hearing problem).We thought the name was so cool that it became our secret password that only the girls and myself knew. So when thinking of a name for my store Monday Betty was a given.

I am a grandmother of 4 girls now 12,10 & 8 years old and another girl named Alexis born in July. All given to me by my Beautiful daughter Rachel who lives in Washington.

I have a 26 year old Son Brandan in the Army and has done 2 tours in Iraq and is in Iraq for the 3rd time. He is a Sargeant now and is stationed at FT. Lewis in WA. 

My other son Stephen who is 20 years old and is a painter. he lives in bend Oregon.

 I live in a beautiful forest in California bear country by a lake and  meadow. I get caught up in observing Nature.

I have a Beautiful Calico cat named Celeste who is 19 years old and a boxer mix named Holly. I saved her 3 days after her destroy date. She is smart,wonderful and cute.  I have also saved and adopted a new cat. I named her squeaky because of the way she meows. She is a Beautiful Calico Manx. She is my Precious Smart kitty.

I do have a special man in my life Greg, he is my Life Partner. Greg encouraged me to do an ebay business. He takes care of me on the days that my Disability is getting the best of me. He is a God Send.Together we have 6 Children and 7 Grandaughters and 1 Grandson.

A hobby I have is taking Photographs and entering them in photo contests.1 of my photos was featured in a weekly newsletter. I have 3 photographs published in 3 books. One of my photo's got me a full page in a book as a featured photographer. I also have a book of Poems published named" Moments in time" which is available at amazon books.com for purchase. On search just put in Moments in Time by Toni Perry (my maiden name).

I have currently written a novel called "The Heart Never Rests" and I am writing the second book in the trilogy called "Madeline". I also am writing a book for teenagers called "The Witch at Howard High". Becoming a novelist is my hobby. I currently am taking writing classes at Lake Tahoe Community College. Keep a lookout for more novels in the future.
