Dear customer, you might be wondering how I acquired a number of negative feedbacks after such a long good record. Here’s the story. On April 5, 2009 I was taken to the Cleveland Clinic hospital with a ruptured intestine. I subsequently spent the next 2 months there, and then an addition about 2 months in a rehabilitation center. While I was there, there were a large number of outstanding items that didn’t get mailed (I had no one who was able to get into my e-mail records to deal with these orders.) Someone was able to phone Ebay and tell them the situation. However, no one bothered to alert any of the customers who filled us up with negative feedbacks. Ebay subsequently killed the account. When I finally got back home, all outstanding items were mailed out to the customers. It took the next two months to get in contact with the proper people at Ebay to re-instate the account. We are now back. We are trying to get Ebay to remove this feedback. Ebay needs a system in place, that when they are notified of a medical emergency, they take it upon themselves to alert your current customers that there is a problem before you end up with everyone angry and confused. Just my opinion. I’m generally known for trying to get items out fast and properly and will continue to pursue that goal in the future. I have a lot of items to be offered. Thanks for your attention and patience.
Some explanations about our items:
Grading
BRAND NEW / UNUSED: Just like new, sometimes never opened (sealed)
EXCELLENT: A nice, above average item. Has been read a few times carefully, shows some wear but this item was taken care of. If this item is a record, it appears (visual grading) to be in nice shape with no scratches or other obvious problems. May need a slight cleaning of some fingerprints but otherwise OK.
VERY GOOD: Used but not abused. More worn item but still in good shape. May have more creases, possibly some minor tears. The cover is properly attached. Could have minor rusty staples. If this item is a record, it has some scratching but nothing really bad. Probably will play OK otherwise.
GOOD: This item is well read and worn but basically an intact item. Could have some water staining, tape repairs, etcp>
FAIR: This item is very well read and worn, not missing anything but may have loose pages, or some very minor parts missing. Basically the whole item is generally there.
POOR: This item is in bad shape, might be missing a page or the cover (wel let you know specific problems)
NOTE: We apply Overstreet Comic Book guide grading standards to all better paper items and those will have more detailed and described grading. Above notes are for average items.
EX LIBRARY BOOK: We get tons of books from library sales. Most will have a library card glued inside the cover. We don’t buy or offer garbage. Nothing with pages missing or anything like that. A library book will often be well read. If it in nice (excellent) shape (or conversely very worn but still an OK reader), we will let you know.
VIDEO TAPES: Rentals: This means this was a video that was rented out from a video store. These are usually in o.k. shape but will have a small label attached to the tape from that store. Should play just fine. 95% of problems people have with video tapes can be corrected by using the tracking controls on their VCR. We have also run into tapes that will run well on an older model VCR but have trouble running on a newer model. Unknown why but I've seen it.
DVD: We get a lot of DVD used. People (especially children) don seem to take good care of DVD. Wel resurface any DVD that looks like it could be a problem.
SHIPPING
Please use the shipping calculator to find out shipping to you (located near the bottom of the page of the item you are bidding on.) If you win multiple items, please wait for us to invoice you with a correct final shipping total (ebay just adds the shipping price for each item together and comes up with a huge (and wrong) final total.
WILL WE COMBINE ITEMS? YES...we will be happy to combine all items you win for one shipping price (that price will be determined by the weight of your package when you're done bidding.) Obviously, some items can't be shipped together (for instance a glass vase and a metal object wouldn't work out too well in the mail.) Special note: Books and records can not be mailed together. The records will get destroyed (from experience)
WHERE IS MY ITEM? All items delivered within the United States go out with a Delivery Confirmation number on them. If you do not have your item in due course, let us know and we will have the post office find out where your item is. As soon as you've received + feedback, you'll know we've received your payment and your item has been processed to be sent to the post office. VERY IMPORTANT: If your item is being shipped by MEDIA MAIL rate, shipping is very slow and can take up to several weeks for delivery. ANY item can be shipped PRIORITY rate (fast shipment), just ask for the rate after you have won the item and we will quote that rate for you.
MY ITEM ARRIVED BROKEN: All our items are properly packed. However, once the United States Post Office has your item, God only knows what might happen to ityoue your item is fragile (like glass or pottery especially) INSURE IT. We can be responsible for uninsured items that get broken in the mail. We write fragile on all items. All comics, magazines, postcards, and other such non-rigid paper items are shipped in bags and between cardboard so careless mailmen can bend them.
